Cannibalism

Umm not sure why this is a problem but it is and am I the only one who is a little bit alarmed by this?

Awwww Factor

This picture is perfection, I love the old school feel of the photo and how the little boy went right in for the kiss. Leaving the flower girl to pout all alone. This photo definitely has the "Awww" factor

Disney Love

Ever since I was little I've loved Disney movies, more than I probably should. And two of my favourites have to be Hercules and Pocahontas, I love the songs and story line. They have such meaning and heart behind them you can't not love them. You just need to wartch these two videos and you'll understand my obsession.

Walrus Party

It was this Walrus' birthday so they made him a fish cake and, he was so happy he started to "cry". I just foubd this so cute. :)

HAIR

I have a goal in life and, I've been workig on it for quite sometime. Okay here I go....I WANT LONG HAIR. But I mean like touching my buty long, you know? My whole life I've had/meduim length hair and I say enough is enough! I blame my mother for this always wanting to cut myhair and give me bangs but now, I'm in control of my own hairs destiny and oh man am I ever excited. Just wait in like a year I'll have mermaid length hair that is the most luscious in all the land. And that sir is a promise.

Disney Meanings

Why So Serious?

I believe in the saying "Never take life to seriously" because in my opinion life is to short to be so serious. I like to be funnny and goof around, take funny pictures and live life to the fullest. So when I take a quote unquote "bad photo" I just accept it because, they are memories and I cherish everyone of them.

Taza and Husband

So ever since I can remember I've always wanted to get married and have kids, the usual boring stuff I know. I never wanted to be your average mother though I wanted to be unique and somehwhat different if that makes any sense. And well I have found my inspiration the couple you see before you Naomi and Josh with their daughter Elenor. They also just had another baby named Samson Rex and an Enlgish Bulldog named Kingsley. Is it sad to say I want my life to be eactly like theres, and I know I only know what they share about themselves but, to me they are perfection and I am proud to say that they are wee bit of an obession for me. So I one day hope to be something of there caliber when I am older.....that is all.

Tan Lines

If I played sports I bet I would find this ten times funnier, so the only one that applies is the tumblr one

PROM

So yes, just like every other Gr. 12 student I had my prom last friday night. I had been helping witth the planning for it since April and believe me when I say it was a tad bit stressful. With figuring out everything from the theme, venue to the food, we were all constantly stressed and under pressure. But there was one thing that none of us counted on.......RAIN. I mean the week of they called for rain and we all said there was no way it would rain on OUR prom day, as if we were special or something. So when I wokeup to see the dark clouds and the raindrops, I was still a little bit disappointed even though all week people had said to me "You know its going to rain right?" Although it rained continuously all day, my prom was still amazing and I'm so glad everything turned out theway it did. :)

Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory

One of my favourite movies of all time is Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory, the original movie from 1971. Now if you haven't seen it I strongly recommend you do so because it is honestly such an amazingly captivating movie. And for the record it is 10x's better than Tim Burton's 2005 remake with Johnny Depp. (Sorry Johnny I love you but, you shouldn't have messed with the oringinal). The pure magic of the story and the whimsy of the chocolate factory just drew me in as a child. It makes me smile to know that when I was a child the movies that I watched really did have an effect on me ten years later, and is still able to put a smile on my face

The Fractured P.S I Love You Life

Yes that's rights folks Ireland, I love it and I don't really know why. I mean other than the culture and landscape and of course those accents. My dream has always been to go there, fall in love with an Irish man and live happily ever after. Sort of like the movie P.S I Love You but instead, my Irish husband doesn't die from a brain tumor and we grow old together in happiness. So I've decided that once I'm out of school (university that is) I will travel to Ireland and meet my future husband.

Wuthering Heights

Wuthering Heights is one of my favourite books of all time but, I feel like most of you have no idea what book I'm referring to. Well it is a book from the 1800's and its written in ye olde english. listen I know what you must be thinking "Why on earth would you read a book like that?" Well to be honest it wasn't on purpose, I did it for my english ISU at school and I only did it because it seemed interesting. But believe me it was much more than I thought it was going to be. I became emotionally invested in the characters so quickly it kind of caught me off guard. Its honestly is such an amzing piece of literature and well worth the read.

One Direction

Alright so, I have something to confess. I am offically obsessed with One Direction, I just couldn't help myself. With their catchy songs, good looks and charm they drew me in and now I can't get out. They are amazing and all I do now is listen to their songs, talk about them, reblog them, and try and decide who my favourite is. (Which by the way is literally impossible) So there it is folks I am offically a Directioner but, I'm still learning so try not to judge me.

Agreed

Cooking with Poo

So I know that I have a very immature sense of humor at times and this picture is a perfect example of this.
This is a cook book and its entitled "Cooking with Poo", come on you all chuckled a bit there didn't you. Now Poo is the name she is using for herself in the book but, I just can't take it seriously

Cute

Travellers Itch

Travellers Itch
Glancing both ways as I take the final step onto the obviously worn in platform
That, I had to assume must have been used by so many aspiring travellers before me
I knew that this will be what sends me on my journey

Being on the plane, train, car, boat or my own two feet fills my mind
Like a jungle river that never stops flowing
With the perceiving thought of adventure and the sense of freedom

New continents, new countries and new people
Means the experience will never truly end because each venture
Holds different places in my heart and mind

Once I’ve soaked up everything I can from, the culture to the people
And have gained as much knowledge as I can
Its time to pack up and start a new tomorrow

*So this is a poem I wrote myself so read it and be kind

Me + Math = Not Friends

This is me, I've never been good at math and I understand that. So I love that I'm able laugh about it no because, as a child it really bothered. Now I've accepted my flaws and that's what makes me, me. :)

Generation X

I love this statement because it really does speak true to our generation. We are the generation that expresses ourselves through piercings and tatoos and thats just the way it is. And I think thats my favourite thing about us is that we do things to please ourselves and not our parents or peers. We are individuals and I hope that future generations follow in our footsteps of being creative and never being satisfied with pleasing anyone less than ourselves.

CUBA 2012

(My friends and I in front of the statue in the town square of Moron City)

During March Break this year I went to Cuba with my friends for the week. It was well worth every penny that I spent because, I had the time of my life. There were parties every night and good times to be had. It gave me the oppertunity to make new friends bond with the one I already had and experience life as an independent person. Going to Cuba was a huge eye opener for me to realize all the luxuries that I have at home. We able to get off the resort one day and see a real Cuban town and it wasn' what I expected, it was as if we had stepped back in time to the 50's because eveyrthing from the cars to the buildings were so simple and old. By leaving the country and going someqwhere without my parents really gave me the travellers itch to want to do more of it later in life. So I'm so glad I went to Cuba and really had one of the best March breaks of my life

PajamaCakes

So today at school we had our annual Pancake Breakfast, we do this every year to celebrate Winter Carnival week at school before the march break. To be honest it is one of the most exhausting and stressful events we do. This morning I got up at 5:45 am in order to make it to the school for 6:30 in order to make a bunch of highschool student pankcakes. Now not that I'm complaining about it because, I really do enjoy doing these types of events for my school; mainly because I'm Vice President. Yet it was an odd feeling knowing that this would be the last one I would ever be a part of, so as I was standing there mixing batter. I actually began to savour every minute of it. But the one thing I will never miss is the fact that for the rest of the day, I will smell like a pancake.

Speechless

All I can really say about this is that she is absolutely stunning, yet I can only see her eyes. People always say that women who wear Hijab's are women who are opressed and unhappy wiht their lives but, its all a part of their religion in regards to the Islamic faith and modesty. From what I can see, these women have the ability to look stunning without all the extra glitz and glam of society. I am literally lost in her eyes and all their beauty, and this shows how little we know about different cultures. This makes me want to learn more about their society and beliefs.

Our Planet

NASA recently released imagery showing the deforestation of America, in just 34 years. We truly are destroying our planet and, if this isn't a wake up call. Then I don't think things will ever change and that to me is an extremely sad thought.

Strangers

Imagine if life were that simple, I wish this was an actual way of getting know people. You would know so many more people and, on a even deeper level how we get to know people now. I want you to think about it, how well do you really know your friends even your family members. The concept of really and truly knowing someone is a scary thing to consider because, as humans we put up walls in order to protect ourselves and to let someone completely in is such an interesting thought. I just hope that in my life time people will become more open about themsleves and to other people because, I think that will be a start in the direction to true and utter happiness.

So True

I love this because of how true it really is....

Changes

(I am in the middle row, last one on the left in the plaid shirt)

Ever since I was little, I have always been the semi active type. Never one to be over invovled in sports but, did participate in some activities. As a child my mom signed me up for many things like soccer, swimming, gymnastics and dance, in the hopes thta one of them would stick. And some did the gymnastics and dance became my new passions as a child. Then I was pulled out of gymnastics because my mother was afraid of me becoming to competitive at the tender age of five. So I stuck with dance until the studio closed then my mother decided to stick me in something she knew I would love choir, and I did love it every week from the age of seven to thriteen years old. Man did I ever love to sing, but I wasn't really the best at standing still and singing. I was always the one jumping and dancing in the back because i simply couldn't help myself. Then my choir director moved to Africa so, I needed another outlet and my mother chose an theatre studio called Duck Soup Productions and that is where I have been since Gr. 8 and I've loved every minute of it. What I'm really trying to say is that I'm glad that my mom kept putting me in new things once something was over or she thought is wasn't good for me because, without all of those tyoes of outlets. I wouldn't be the person I am today and for that I am grateful.

I just thought that this was really funny. So this guy accidently sign up to get "Cat Facts" and when he tries to get rid of them, it doesnt really work. So enjoy this guys frusteration :)

Broadway Baby

Broadway, when you hear the word to most people nothing happens but, to me I get goosebumps and a huge smile on my face. My dream is to be on broadway I have a passion for musical theatre and, I have even since I was little. Musicals are in my opinion pure brilliance, well most of them anyway. The theatre is where I belong and even just stepping foot on a stage brings joy to my heart. This summer I was able to be in a show called "Shrek the Musical" and we were able to perform it at the Opera House here in Orillia. I have an insane love for that theatre because I have such history there and, it really is such an amazing building. I hope that someday I can be in a broadway show in New York to me it wouldnt matter if I was chorus or a lead part because, to just being a part of something like that is enough. To me that's what it means to be a true lover of the theatre, it doesn't matter what part you are because you are in something that in my opinion is pure magic.

T.V Shows Today

Sorry but this is going to be a bit of a rant but, there is somthing wrong with the quality of television programs now a days. In all honesty they are absolutely horrible, I remember growing up with shows like "Boy Meets World", "The Weekenders", "Recess", "Lizzie Maguire", "That's So Raven",and "Even Steven", "Kim Possible" and so many other like it. And now we are stuck with shows like "Hannah Montana", "Shake It Up", "A.N.T Farm", "Zeke and Luther" and others that i can't even remember. the point I am trying to make is that show's aren't the way they used to be and its apparent. I mean I know that T.V isn't the most productive way to spend my time but, if I'm going to spend it watching T.V. I would hope that the programming would be a bit better, but I guess what it comes down to is the generation gap between me and kids now a day. I know that I'm not exactly old but, I'm old enough to know that what i liked as a kid is nothing close to what kids like now. I suppose I just wish kids could get the joy out of a good television show that has a real message and life lessons that could be learned.
